Elliptical Reviews

Front drive ellipticals such as Sole, Reebok, Bremshey, Schwinn and Freemotion, either offer an elliptical with extremely wide pedals and arms or a fixed stride which develops into “muscle adaptation” causing the user to do something else for a cardiovascular workout in order to get results.  Rear drive ellipticals such as Smooth, Life Fitness, Proform, Diamondback, and Pacemaster do not offer the same ergonomics of the lower body motion. Majority of them are designed with an “up and down” motion with very little foot support causing the user to lean more forward  and causing long term damage to the user’s knee. Brands such as Octane, True, and Precor simply do not offer an adjustable stride and quality level as the AFG 18.0’s price point therefore giving this machine the Best Value.
